As you all know, I have opened up about my struggles with depression, bullying, and self harm. Helping others who share the same struggles has become a main goal and passion of mine. I want to make sure that everyone knows they are not alone and spread a message of hope. This Saturday, February 16, 2013, I will be participating in a live streaming event Darkness Is Not Forever presented by Hope Inside Love. Hope Inside Love is an organization helping those who struggle with mental illness and giving them hope for recovery. During this live stream there will be many musicians and other public figures. The live stream will raise awareness for mental health issues such as self-injury, depression, suicide, eating disorders, anxiety and other related struggles. Most importantly, I want to let people know they are not alone and they can share their story.The event starts at 10AM and ends the next day at 10AM. I will be live streaming, answering your questions and sharing my story on Saturday at 1pm. To share your story email info@hopeinsidelove.com and be sure to tune in on Saturday.

Lauren, you are my inspiration. I have watched your youtube videos since forever and I never knew you were going through all of this until you had posted that video telling your story. i have been going through a depression for the past 7 months and am going to therapy and also have anxiety and am being bullied. because of your video i told my parents what i had/have been going through. as im starting to get over my depression the bullying still remains. but i wanted to tell you that YOU changed my life and you are my idol i look up to you in so many ways. i follow you on every account and whenever i see one of your videos pop up in my subs box i LITERALLY jump with joy! Lauren Luthringshausen you have changed me in so many ways and yet we do not even know each other. i love you so much and please don't let anyone bring you down and keep on doing what you're doing because even if you only inspire or are a rold model to a few including me i really truly mean it when i say i don't know what i would do without you. thank you so much lauren -devon e.
