Shades are a summer essential. Whether you wear them to compliment your outfit or to protect your eyes on sunny days, they are a must have. Finding your perfect shades can be tough. Everyone has different face shapes and different styles. What I wanted to touch on in this post are some of my favorite styles of sun glasses right now.
In the photo above, the number 1 shades are super circular. These shades give you the perfect bug- eyed look. They can be worn with a totally cute chic outfit or even a more grungy outfit. Circle sunglasses like these are definitely better for people with more heart shaped or square shaped faces. I can’t really pull this style off because they always look too big for my face! But I love how some girls style these glasses, they are totally fun!
The number 2 glasses are one of my favorites. There are actually so many different styles of aviator glasses and finding a pair that matches your face shape isn’t too hard. There are aviators that are more rounded on the face and there are some that lay flat. This is definitely a style pretty much anyone can find to work with their face shape. When I style aviators it really depends on the style of them. I can wear them when I’m going for a rocker look or even when I’m dressed up in sequins!
The number 3 glasses are what I like to call, Funky Glasses. These are the glasses you see that aren’t just your standard glasses and are well, just funky! These glasses are for the risk takers and people who love to stand out. Funky glasses are definitely on trend for the summer.
The number 4 glasses are the big glamour glasses. These glasses are for people with more oval shaped faces. These are the huge glasses that you see big fashionistas wearing. I love when I see a girl wearing a totally fashion forward outfit and just has huge sunglasses on to top it all off.
The number 5 sunglasses are your fun glasses. Whether it’s pink oval framed or heart shape frames, they are just fun! They don’t always go with every outfit unless you want them to. They are similar to the funky glasses but are more wacky. I definitely recommend getting a cheap pair of fun glasses to give any outfit a little kick.
The number 6 glasses are a personal favorite. Classic Ray Bans. Ray Bans come in a few different sizes and many different colors. Finding the ones that fit your face shape shouldn’t be too difficult. These glasses are classic and I think go with any style. I wear mine all the time.
The number 7 glasses are a new favorite of mine. They are very old school and that’s what I love about them. These glasses are for people with more of a heart or round shaped face. I’ve seen variations of these and the size can definitely impact how they look on your face. I love these glasses for grungy outfits and beach days.
